About The Antigua Garden Wedding Venue
Built in 1943, Antigua Garden has plenty of history and charm that comes with a unique, vintage location. For over 50 years, it was the home of the Phoenix Baptist Church.
In 2008, the current owner envisioned redeveloping the site into an elegant, versatile, and affordable event space that celebrated the venue’s charming Spanish Colonial architecture. Now, its beautifully landscaped gardens and completely renovated reception hall are the perfect places for an indoor/outdoor wedding.
Details of the Grounds
Antigua Garden has both an indoor and an outdoor space that can be used in a flexible manner to fit the needs of your dream wedding. The indoor Event Venue is elegant and versatile to reflect your design aesthetic. Bring in drapery and colorful uplighting to truly transform the space into an elegant ballroom setting, or keep it simple and dance beneath the room’s stately chandelier. There is plenty of room for up to 250 guests and a spacious dance floor.
The Antigua Garden private patio is perfect for open-air events that still feel small and intimate. It is a gorgeous space for an outdoor ceremony and reception with a rustic gazebo, an illuminated water feature, a decorative fireplace, and pristine landscaping.
Exchange your vows beneath the gazebo trellis, perhaps draped with flowing white fabric for an ethereal aesthetic. You and your guests can dance the night away under the stars and strings of romantic bistro lighting, celebrating the love that brought you all together on your wedding day.
Photography Opportunities
There are plenty of opportunities for gorgeous wedding photos at Antigua Garden. They have an elegant Spanish mission-style staircase with dark wooden stairs adorned with hanging flower pots, making for a beautiful picture-perfect backdrop.
Their entryway has arched iron doors for a more industrial setting, and rustic wooden doors on the patio give warmer photo vibes. There are also plenty of spots with overarching bougainvillea blossoms in bright, bold colors ideal for more whimsical portraits.
Wedding Details
At Antigua Garden, your wedding is just that – your event. They allow you to contract your own catering, entertainment, lighting, florals, and more to create the wedding you’ve always imagined. You can also coordinate with one of their event managers for an all-inclusive experience. Their team will bring your wedding to life using their list of trusted professionals.
In addition to wedding planning services, Antigua Garden provides:
- a dance floor,
- tables, chairs (including upgraded chairs),
- linens and glassware,
- security, and
- full venue set up and clean up.
When it comes to alcohol, you must provide your own, but you will need it served by a licensed bartender or caterer. The venue must approve all decorations, but that’s less about the aesthetic and more about keeping everyone safe.
